Hollis-Jefferson Sprains Ankle; Joins Five Other Injured Nets
The Nets suffered another injury in Saturday’s 97-95 loss to the 76ers when rookie Rondae Hollis-Jefferson exited in the fourth quarter with a sprained right ankle.
He joins what already is a crowded injury list for the Nets through the first two weeks of the preseason. Brooklyn went into Saturday’s game without Andrea Bargnani (tight left hamstring), Willie Reed (right quadriceps strain), Markel Brown (left oblique strain), Bojan Bogdanovic (sore right ankle) and Thomas Robinson (right wrist sprain).
