Lakers G Henry has wrist, knee surgeries

Los Angeles Lakers guard Xavier Henry had season-ending surgeries Friday to repair a torn ligament in his left wrist and the cartilage abnormality in his right knee.

Dr. Steve Shin performed the wrist surgery while and Dr. Steve Lombardo operated on the knee at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic. The Lakers said Henry is expected to make a full recovery by the beginning of training camp later this year.

Henry averaged career-highs with 10.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 21.1 minutes in 43 games.
