Lakers’ Julius Randle Trying to Adjust to Bench Role

Indeed, (Julius) Randle posted double-doubles in his first two games off the bench, losses in Toronto and Minnesota. But he acknowledged that he is still adjusting to his role as a reserve.

“It’s a different feeling,” he said.

What’s different?

“You sit nine, 10 minutes,” Randle said, “then you try to get in and you’re trying to feel out the flow of the game, playing with a different unit, different guys. Just trying to get used to it.”
