LeBron James hates missing practices, let alone playoff games, so no one was more grateful for what will be at least five days before the Heat have to begin its second round against either the Nets or Raptors.

James injured his thigh in the third quarter of Monday’s 109-98 Game 4 victory that concluded a sweep of the Charlotte Bobcats after colliding with center Bismack Biyombo’s knee.

“The thigh has been better,” James said after a full-court conditioning practice that he barely participated in on Wednesday at AmericanAirlines Arena. “It’s been better.”
