Marcus Smart occasionally exaggerates contact.

A lot of players in the NBA do, but the Boston Celtics guard flops like he performs most everything else, violently and loudly, which makes his occasional acting more noticeable.

Smart knows people have considered him a flopper for years. He just doesn’t care.

“Not at all,” he said Wednesday after practice. “I’m gonna play my game and play hard every day.”
