Matthews Returns to Portland for First Time Since Leaving

Wesley Matthews returned to Portland on Tuesday night for the first time since leaving the team as a free agent last summer.

Asked before the game if there was anything he missed about Portland, Matthews said the familiarity. “The community was always awesome to me, the fans were awesome to me, the organization. And just how weird you guys are,” Matthews said, drawing laughs from the crowd of reporters surrounding him.
