(Alvin) Gentry, 60, could soon get another NBA head coaching opportunity given the Warriors’ success.

“I’m in a great situation, a great spot,” Gentry said Thursday. “Great franchise, not just from a basketball standpoint, but period. Owners like Joe (Lacob) are hard to come by. A general manager like Bob (Myers) is hard to come by.

“If there’s a good situation, yeah, I would like to be a head coach again. But it would have to be a situation that would have to be very good.”
