The New Orleans Pelicans came back from a 22-point deficit in the second half without star forward Anthony Davis, but couldn’t do enough to pull out the victory in the end, falling 114-105 to the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Smoothie King Center on Wednesday night.

Davis missed the entire second half after re-injuring the right quad contusion that held him out of his team’s victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday. He finished the game with eight points and five rebounds and has missed time on the court due to injury in seven of the last eight games.
