Both Grimes and McBridge were considered reaches at their relative draft position but the rookie guards have performed well in their first taste of NBA Summer League action. Grimes, who was selected with the 25th pick in the draft, was projected to fall to the second-round by most analysts. Meanwhile, McBride was selected with pick No. 36 in the second-round for his hard-nosed style and scoring ability.

NBA Summer League Betting Predictions
Below, you can find more NBA betting predictions and analysis for the NBA Summer League.
NBA Summer League Spread Prediction:
New York has been trending up towards the end of its tenure in Las Vegas. The Knicks have been on a roll as of late, scoring 90 points or more in three of their last four games and they are fresh off of topping the century mark in their previous contest versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. With backcourt depth and a go-to scorer in Toppin, the Knicks have been one of the more well-rounded Summer League squads. Meanwhile, Atlanta has a young team that doesn’t attempt a lot of 3-pointers and has shot the ball poorly from deep in Las Vegas. Take the Knicks to cover the spread in their final Summer League game on Monday night.
NBA Summer League Money Line Prediction:
The Knicks have one of the more experienced Summer League rosters. Quickley and Toppin have flashed their development in Las Vegas and look to have graduated from their rookie status a year ago. However, New York also has a deep backcourt with several ball handlers that can create their own shot. With Grimes and McBride also playing well, it’s hard not to like New York’s chances of closing out the Summer League with a win in this spot. Take the Knicks to come out on top in their Summer League finale on Monday night.
NBA Summer League Total Prediction:
The total for this game is set at 174.5 points but that number seems to be set a little low in this spot. New York has been on fire offensively over the last few games. They’ve scored at least 90 points in three of their last four games and are coming off of their best offensive performance at the Summer League. Meanwhile, the Hawks are coming off of their highest-scoring performance in Las Vegas as well. Take this game to go over the projected total on Monday evening.
