(Bradley) Beal later sprained his right ankle after landing on a defender’s foot following a jump shot in the fourth quarter. (John) Wall stayed in the game and later said the pain was more in his hand, something that Beal revealed as been “killing him all year.”

Beal’s status is murkier. An X-ray on his ankle was negative, but he didn’t declare himself ready for Game 2. “I’ll just treat it over the next couple days and see how I feel,” said Beal, who missed 19 games during the regular season due to wrist and fibula injuries.
