Brandan Wright: Suns Are an Even Better Fit Than Mavs

“I see it as an elevating team,” said (Phoenix Suns Brandan) Wright, a 6-foot-10 backup center with elevating physical ability. “Everyone on this team is still growing. This thing is going in the right direction. It’s a great fit for me and this is a place I can thrive at.”

“I play with a lot of speed and I like to attack angles,” Wright said. “I can play above the rim and block shots. I can play in the pick-and-roll. I get up and down the court. All the fun stuff in basketball that you like to see, that’s what I can do.”

“It’s always good to be wanted,” Wright said before walking through plays with some Suns on Friday evening. “Dallas (Mavericks) was an outstanding fit for me but this is even better.”
