Milwaukee Bucks vs. Detroit Pistons preview
Furthermore, on Sunday, in the Bucks’ 107-95 home loss versus the Jazz, forward Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a team-high 25 points in 35 minutes played. Guard Grayson Allen accumulated 18 points and 6.0 rebounds in 31 minutes of action, too. Milwaukee allowed 57 first-half points. Though, the Bucks also struggled to generate a consistent offense throughout the course of the match.
Their shooting accuracy was lacking as much as their defense. They shot 39-for-96 (40.6%) from the field and 12-for-41 (29.3%) from three-point range. Considering both teams had 44 rebounds, the final outcome came down to basic jump shots. Milwaukee is now on a three-game losing streak. They are 1-3 at home and 2-1 away.
Meanwhile, in the Pistons’ 117-91 loss against the Nets on Sunday, Cory Joseph led his team in scoring, putting up 13 points in 21 minutes spent on the court. Josh Jackson ended his performance with 12 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 25 minutes played as well. Unlike the Bucks, the Pistons are not 0-3 in their past three performances. But, they have only won one game this season.
In addition to the Pistons losing the rebounding battle 41 to 29, they shot 32-for-79 (40.5%) from the floor and 12-for-33 (36.4%) from behind the arc. Not to mention, Brooklyn outscored Detroit 42 to 30 in the paint. Simply put, the Pistons were beat by a superior team all across the board. They are winless on the road, but Detroit is 1-1 at home.
Next, the Bucks’ projected starting lineup is PG George Hill, SG Grayson Allen, SF Pat Connaughton, PF Giannis Antetokounmpo and C Thanasis Antetokounmpo. On the other side, the Pistons’ projected starting lineup is PG Killian Hayes, SG Cade Cunningham, SF Saddiq Bey, PF Jerami Grant and C Isaiah Stewart.
Milwaukee Bucks vs. Detroit Pistons prediction
Moreover, the total for Tuesday night’s intraconference matchup is set at 213. Based on the spread consensus, 53% of bettors are expecting the Pistons to cover the spread. Upon further review of the total consensus, 56% of gamblers are anticipating the total will go over 213. Thus far, the Bucks are 3-2 as selected favorites and 0-2 as underdogs this season, while the Pistons are 1-0 as favorites and 0-5 as underdogs. Detroit will eventually win another game. However, will they win tonight?
For notable betting trends, the Bucks are 2-4 ATS in their last six games played. The total has gone under in four of Milwaukee’s past five contests. They are also 2-4 straight up in their previous six games, and they are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games played versus the Pistons. Nonetheless, the total has gone over in six of the team’s past seven road performances.
As for the Pistons, they are 2-9 ATS in their previous 11 contests. And, they are 1-1- SU in their last 11 games. Also, the total has gone over in four of Detroit’s past five games versus Milwaukee, and the total has gone under in five of the team’s seven contests played in the month of November. All things considered, think about picking the Bucks to win; the Pistons should cover the spread.
