The Cavs are bringing DeAndre Liggins to training camp. He has an outside shot to make the team. The 28-year-old was the D-League’s Defensive Player of the Year. He’s 28 and 6-foot-6, 200 pounds and was on the Cavs’ summer league team. They love how he defends small forwards and guards.

Liggins played three years at Kentucky. He was a second-round pick by Orlando in 2011. He has played very little in the NBA. Liggins is not a big scorer. He averaged 13 points in the D-League. He shot 43 percent on 3-pointers.
