Trail Blazers backup guard CJ McCollum has been dealing with some frustration this season.

Sporadic minutes and erratic play were not part of his plan entering his second year in the NBA.

“It’s difficult,” he said following Portland’s 108-87 win over Dallas at the Moda Center. “It’s a struggle not knowing if you’re going to play when you’re going to the arena.”

“It’s tough, man,” he said. “You never know when you’re going to play.”
