Curry Becomes Fastest to 1,000 Three-Pointers

Heading into Wednesday’s home game against the Indiana Pacers, (Stephen) Curry had hit 999 three-pointers in 368 appearances. He hit the millennium mark relatively early with this shot halfway into the first quarter: With that make, Curry became the fastest player to 1,000 three-pointers in NBA history, breaking Dennis Scott’s previous record of 457 games. That’s a difference of 88 games, or more than a full 82-game season.
