Stephen Curry, who is shooting 45.2 percent from beyond the arc this season, made five 3-pointers in the Warriors’ 107-99 overtime victory against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night to give him 1,248 for his career — three more than his father, Dell Curry.

“I knew about it going into the game,” said Stephen Curry, who is off to the best start in NBA history with 57 3-pointers through the first 11 games. “It’s a pretty special moment for my family. I’m sure he never dreamt of the day one of his sons would pass him.”
