Golden State’s dynamic duo backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson head the list of players who will participate in this year’s 3-point contest during next month’s All-Star Weekend.

Yahoo! Sports also reported that Los Angeles Clippers guard J.J. Redick, Atlanta Hawks guard Kyle Korver and Portland Trail Blazer guard Wesley Matthews also will participate.

“It’s something that I’ve always wanted to participate in at least once in my career,” Redick told ESPN Monday night. “I don’t know if I’ve been in the conversation but I’m just excited and honored to be a part of All-Star Weekend.”

Washington guard Bradley Beal, Houston guard James Harden and Trail Blazer guard Damian Lillard are among the players who might fill the final spot in the contest.

Korver leads the league in 3-point shooting at 53 percent while Matthews has made the most (138) as of Tuesday morning.

All-Star Weekend is scheduled for Feb. 13-15.
