Draft Kings: Beat Yannis, Win Cash Wednesday Night!

*I’m betting pretty heavily on Kyle O’Quinn tonight continuing with his strong play after a big game against the Los Angeles Clippers, but if Nikola Vucevic goes from questionable to active tonight, I’m going to have to second-guess that selection, because O’Quinn’s minutes are clearly going to drop if Vucevic is back in the lineup. However, Tobias Harris is staying in my lineup regardless.

*The Detroit Pistons are coming off of a bad loss against the Los Angeles Lakers, which makes Rajon Rondo the guy I’m willing to give the majority of my cap space to. I think the Pistons’ dysfunction sets the stage for Rajon Rondo to flirt with a triple-double tonight.

*There were a lot of guys worth picking in tonight’s Philadelphia-Minnesota match up despite both team’s struggles. The reason I settled on K.J. McDaniels as my lone selection from the game is because of his ability to do the little things. I’m hoping for a few blocks, steals, a couple assists, a handful of rebounds and hopefully double digit scoring from him tonight.

*As Tom Thibodeau recently said, Jimmy Butler is a star – and against a Charlotte Hornets team that is floundering, I’m comfortable having him as my second-highest paid player, although I desperately tried to find a way to fit Pau Gasol into my line up as well.
