Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Philadelphia 76ers pick, prediction, odds and betting tips
Start time: 6 p.m. ET
Point spread: 76ers -5 (-110)
Over/Under: 216
The streaky Timberwolves (9-9) are playing the 76ers (10-9) at Wells Fargo Center. They are currently on a five-game winning streak. And, the team is 3-3 away, 3-6 as underdogs and 3-3 against the spread away this season. In their past seven games, the Timberwolves are 6-1 ATS. Plus, they are 0-8 straight up in the team’s previous eight contests versus the Sixers. To add to these betting statistics, the total has gone under in five of Minnesota’s last seven games against Eastern Conference opponents. Until now, Minnesota is 9-9 ATS, whereas Philadelphia is 10-9 ATS.
As for the 76ers, they have won just three of their past 10 contests. Philadelphia is 4-4 at home, 6-1 as a selected favorite and 3-5 ATS at home this season. For a side note, center Joel Embiid was upgraded to questionable on the injury report. The star tested positive for COVID-19 on Nov. 8, and he has missed quite a few games. Anyways, the total has gone under in four of the Sixers’ past six contests. Also, the total has gone under in eight of Philadelphia’s preceding 11 games played at Wells Fargo Center. So, pick the Timberwolves to win, the 76ers will cover and the total will go under 216.
New York Knicks vs. Atlanta Hawks pick, prediction, odds and betting tips
Start time: 6:30 p.m. ET
Point spread: Hawks -5.5 (-110)
Over/Under: 217.5
Furthermore, the Knicks (10-9) are facing off against the Hawks (11-9) at State Farm Arena. Atlanta is a 5.5-point favorite. New York has dropped six out of their past 10 games. They are 5-3 away, 2-3 as underdogs and 4-4 ATS on the road. To add insult to injury, the Knicks have lost their last three head-to-head meetings versus the Hawks. In those aforementioned contests, New York is 0-3 ATS. Also, the total has gone under in five of the team’s previous five road games, and they are 1-6 ATS in their last seven matches against Southeast Division opponents.
On the other side, the Hawks are 9-11 ATS this season, while the Knicks are 8-11 ATS. On Friday, after their 132-100 blowout victory over the Grizzlies, the team’s win streak was extended to seven games. Atlanta is 8-1 at home, 11-2 as a favorite and 7-2 ATS at State Farm Arena. The total has gone over in four of the Hawks’ last six contests, but the total has gone under in the team’s previous four meetings against the Knicks. Phoenix Suns vs. Brooklyn Nets pick, prediction, odds and betting tips

Point spread: Suns -3.5 (-110)
Over/Under: 225
Moreover, the unstoppable Suns (16-3) are focusing on extending their double-digit win streak this season to 16 games versus the Nets (14-5). Phoenix is a one-point underdog; the Suns are within two wins of tying their franchise record for consecutive victories. Leading into this must-watch matchup, Phoenix is 10-9 ATS this season, whereas Brooklyn is 8-10-1 ATS. In addition to the Suns’ 8-1 away record, they are 16-2 as favorites, 5-4 ATS away and 1-6 straight up in their past seven games played against the Nets. The total has also gone over in five out of their last six contests.
However, the Nets are on a winning streak as well. After defeating the Celtics 123-104 on Wednesday, the team has won their past four consecutive games. Equally important, the Nets are 3-0 against the Suns in their previous three head-to-head meetings. And, Brooklyn is 6-3 at home, 13-4 as a favorite and 3-5-1 ATS at Barclays Center. The total has gone over in seven of the team’s preceding eight games. Lastly, the Nets are 5-1 SU in their prior six home contests against the Suns.
