Because the Spurs fell earlier Wednesday to the Lakers, the Warriors secured the NBA’s best record, the Western Conference’s top seed and home-court advantage throughout the playoffs. Now, after going 15-4 since Kevin Durant suffered a left knee injury Feb. 28 at Washington, Golden State will ease its eight-time All-Star back into the rotation without worrying about postseason implications. The final three regular-season games, all at home, could be an opportunity for head coach Steve Kerr to rest more players.
