After the Memphis Grizzlies failed to extend a qualifying offer, forward Ed Davis has become an unrestricted free agent, league source told Yahoo Sports.
Once the Grizzlies reached a two-year extension with two-time All-Star forward Zach Randolph on Friday, Davis became expendable for the franchise’s future.
