The Atlanta Hawks-Detroit Pistons game scheduled for Wednesday night in Philips Arena was postponed in the wake of the crippling winter storm that paralyzed the Atlanta area on Tuesday.

No makeup date for the game was announced Wednesday morning.

The Hawks last played on Monday night in Oklahoma City, losing 111-109 to the Thunder.

The Pistons defeated the Orlando Magic 103-87 on Tuesday night in Auburn Hills, Mich., and reports indicated that the team was unable to travel to Atlanta after the game.

The NBA requires a visiting team arrive at the city where the game will be played the night before except under extreme circumstances.
