Miami Heat forward Danny Granger said he had knee surgery two months ago, but expects to be ready for the regular-season opener.

Granger’s news comes on the heels of fellow free-agent signee Josh McRoberts disclosing last week that he had toe surgery shortly after the end of last season.

Granger, 31, has been limited to 46 games over the past two seasons while battling knee injuries.
