J.R. Smith on Track to Return to Court By April?

I hear J.R. Smith should be back by April and able to play at least a few games before the playoffs open. Smith is recovering from thumb surgery. The Cavs are pleased with his progress. He could be considered ahead of schedule. They don’t want to rush Smith. Their shooting guard is important because he’s a strong, athletic presence on defense — along with having amazing 3-point shooting range.
