Joakim Noah wanted to set the record straight in advance of Friday night’s game against the Pistons — he did not ask to come off the bench this season.

When asked whether he told new Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg he wanted to come off the bench, Noah responded quickly.

“No,” he said.
