Josh Smith Picks Houston Rockets
As somewhat expected forward Josh Smith has informed the Houston Rockets that he’ll accept their contract offer once he clears the NBA waiver process later today. According to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle, Smith will sign a one-year deal for a pro-rated portion of the Rockets Bi-Annual Exception.
Josh Smith has committed to signing with the Houston Rockets, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. He clears waivers at 5 PM today.
