The young and dominating Kentucky Wildcats continued to have a solid hold on the No. 1 spot in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.
Kentucky (7-0), with a roster loaded with high school All-Americans, has outscored opponents by an NCAA-best 36.8 points a game. The Wildcats got 62 of 65 first-place votes in the new rankings released Monday.
No. 2 Wisconsin (7-0) received the other three first-place votes. Arizona and Duke remained third and fourth. Louisville, Texas, Virginia, Wichita State, Gonzaga and Villanova rounded out the top 10.
North Carolina (5-1) dropped seven spots to 12th after losing to Butler — new to the poll at No. 23.
