Players from the Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings were involved in a heated verbal exchange in the tunnel Wednesday night after a game that saw Milwaukee coach Jason Kidd ejected late in the fourth quarter.

The players’ confrontation followed an O.J. Mayo challenge to the Kings’ bench near the end of the Bucks’ 129-118 loss for a sidelined DeMarcus Cousins to join him in the hallway. Kidd was ejected with 1:49 left after he slapped the ball out of a referee’s hand. Kidd had to be restrained by Mayo and an assistant coach before being escorted to the locker room.
