Brooklyn Nets general manager Billy King on Saturday night said “it was just time” for point guard Deron Williams to depart after more than four seasons with the team.
“I think we both made it work — tried to make it work — I think we had some great moments with him,” King said, speaking prior to the Nets’ summer league game in Las Vegas.
