Kuran Iverson Will Transfer From Memphis
Memphis sophomore forward Kuran Iverson is leaving the program after being suspended for the past three games, the school announced Friday.
The 6-foot-9 Iverson was once a highly rated high school player coming out of Connecticut, but sources told ESPN that Memphis coach Josh Pastner kicked Iverson out of the program following yet another suspension — and told him to transfer elsewhere. Iverson was averaging 4.6 points and 1.9 rebounds this season and is expected to leave after the spring semester.
