Kyle Lowry Sprains Ankle; Intends to Play Game 3

Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry exited Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Cavaliers after spraining his left ankle on the first possession of the second half when his teammate Norman Powell collided with him.
He spent the fourth quarter in the locker room icing his ankle.
“It’s pretty sore right now,” Lowry said after the game. “Honestly, I’m pretty sore but — it’s whatever.”
“It was kind of scary. It’s painful, but I’m not going to complain about it. I’m going to get treatment, and I’m going to get ready to play in Game 3.”
