Lillard Implements Changes to Lessen Fatigue
In searching for ways to improve, (Damian) Lillard decided he needed to get stronger, especially in his lower body, to help deal with the demands of the long NBA season and playoffs. To improve, he focused on two areas: exercise and diet.
Working with the team’s trainers, he put himself through arduous workouts to strengthen his legs and core.
The driving force for Lillard strengthening his legs was the fatigue he felt during the San Antonio playoff series. But Lillard said he can already feel the benefits of being stronger.
