(Jameer) Nelson said he’s cautiously optimistic that he will be able to play at some point on the trip.

“Hopefully sometime on this trip,” he said. “I’m doing everything the training staff is telling me and it’s getting better. So we’ll wait and see.”

Nelson tweaked his back in practice Tuesday.
