The Miami Heat advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals for a fourth straight year.
The Miami Heat trailed for most of the second half, but once again it was Ray Allen to the rescue. The veteran guard hit the go-ahead 3-pointer in the Heat’s 96-94 victory Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. The Heat won the series 4-1, advancing to play either the Washington Wizards or Indiana Pacers in the conference finals.
