The Washington Wizards received terrorist threats on Twitter during their first-round playoff series from a person whom the NBA investigated.

Wizards center Marcin Gortat said the individual apparently did not take kindly to Washington ousting the Chicago Bulls. The tweets came after the Wizards’ Game 2 win in Chicago.

“He was saying there was a bomb on the plane and stuff, that my country’s going to get bombed and all my family’s going to die, just stuff like that. Just everyday stuff,” said Gortat, who is from Poland.

The NBA does not comment on security issues, but Gortat said, “Some people already visited him.”

The Wizards, who dispatched the Bulls in five games, face the winner of the Indiana-Atlanta series in the second round.
