Sergey Karasev of the Brooklyn Nets will have season-ending surgery Thursday to repair his injured right knee.

The Nets say Karasev has a torn medial collateral ligament, a dislocated patella and multiple loose bodies in the knee. The team announced the diagnosis before its game in Miami on Wednesday night.
