LOS ANGELES — Brooklyn Nets forward Mirza Teletovic was taken to a local hospital after complaining of shortness of breath during Thursday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Teletovic played seven minutes in the first half and missed three 3-point shots. Nets coach Lionel Hollins said, “(He) said he didn’t feel right and asked me to take him out of the game.”

The Clippers went on to beat the Nets 123-84.

A 29-year-old Bosnian in his third season with Brooklyn, Teletovic is averaging 8.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game, all career highs. He finished with a season-high 26 points and a season-high 15 rebounds in the Nets’ 95-93 overtime win over the San Antonio Spurs on Dec. 3.
