Referencing Land of Basketball’s database, based on 120 regular season games played all-time between these two Eastern Conference teams, the Magic are 67-53 versus the Nets. However, in the past three head-to-head meetings, Brooklyn is 2-1 against Orlando. On Mar. 19, 2021, the last time these teams faced off, the Magic won 121-113 at Amway Center. This will not be an automatic win for Brooklyn. Plus, in the previous 10 head-to-head contests, these teams are 5-5 against one another.

In other news, Nets forward Kevin Durant has had 11 consecutive games this season with at least 20 point scored. The eleven-time All-Star is averaging 29.5 points, 8.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists. Durant is also shooting 56.7% from the field and 38.2% from behind the arc. Nonetheless, while the Slim Reaper is playing well, his teammates need to step their game up.
