Nets’ Williams returns
Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams returned to game action on Monday after missing the previous 11 games with a rib injury.
Williams did not start Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers, but he came off the bench and entered the game in the first half.
Williams was injured on Jan. 4, and four days later, he was diagnosed with a fracture in his rib cartilage.
The Nets had a 2-9 record without Williams, and they entered Monday’s game with an 18-28 record.
Williams is averaging 13.9 points and 6.3 assists this season.
