Pelicans waive G Taylor
The New Orleans Pelicans waived guard Tyshawn Taylor on Thursday, less than a week after acquiring him from the Brooklyn Nets.
Taylor, a second-round pick by the Nets in the 2012 NBA Draft, holds career averages of 2.9 points, 0.9 assists and 0.4 steals in 61 career contests.
Taylor, who was acquired last Saturday for cash, did not appear in a game for the Pelicans.
The former Kansas standout received attention earlier in the season when he was involved in the drink-spilling incident with Nets coach Jason Kidd.
