John Loyer recognizes the “broader picture” of Detroit Pistons pursuits this season, but for now, he’s taking it one megapixel at a time after getting the team dumped in his lap less than 72 hours ago.

The Pistons’ interim coach, thrust into that role when Maurice Cheeks was fired Sunday.

(Said Loyer:) “There’s a broader picture of things that we’ve got to cover and go over and add to the package. But most of that is going to be done after the break and we’ll spend time on the break working on that.”
