Prince Doesn’t Care About Buyout, Trade Talk
Tayshaun Prince turns 35 in nine days, and, befitting an NBA veteran of his age, the transactions are starting to come with more frequency.
But on the outside, anyway, the Celtics forward isn’t sweating reports that the team will buy him out if a deal isn’t found by today’s 3 p.m. trade deadline.
“Why am I worried, man?” he said before last night’s practice at Sleep Train Arena, the first for the Celtics since the All-Star break. “I’m great; just had a great vacation, and I feel good, man. To be honest, I haven’t paid attention to what’s going on.”
