According to Land of Basketball’s statistics, based on a total of 99 regular season games played all-time between these two Eastern Conference teams, the Raptors are 58-41 versus the Sixers. However, in the past three head-to-head meetings, Philadelphia is 2-1 against Toronto. On Feb. 23, 2021, the last time these teams faced off, the 76ers won 109-102 at Scotiabank Arena. Plus, in the previous 10 head-to-head contests, Toronto is 6-4 versus Philadelphia.

Additionally, after the Raptors lost 104-88 against the Celtics at TD Garden, point guard Fred VanVleet was asked about Pascal Siakim’s early struggles. VanVleet said, “It’s going to be up and down. That’s just the way it goes. I was just trying to reassure him and tell him to keep going until he figures it out. He’s finding himself, finding his legs… He’ll be ok.” Of course, Siakim is out for tonight’s game. Per sources, head coach Nick Nurse is just resting the player.
