Report: Clippers Concerned About Chris Paul’s Workload
Since (Blake) Griffin’s injury, (Chris) Paul’s minutes, shots, points and usage rate have all gone up. Since Austin Rivers broke his hand 10 days ago, it’s only gotten worse.
Paul has played more than 35 minutes 14 times this season, including four times in his last five games.
But the Clippers are winning – 18 times in their last 23 games – and they have to keep asking.
People inside the organization, however, including Coach Doc Rivers, are worried about the star guard’s workload.
