Rockets’ Jason Terry Focused on Limiting J.J. Barea
After watching his former Dallas understudy, J.J. Barea, score 16 points with 13 assists, veteran guard Jason Terry said the improvement of the Rockets defense will have to begin at the point.
“If he doesn’t have to cover and you just have to cover him, he’s tough,” said Terry, who made 1 of 5 shots while backup points guard Pablo Prigioni went 0 for 4. “But if you make him play both ends of the floor, that’s a different story. We’ll see tomorrow. I’ll be a lot more aggressive. We’ll see what happens.”
