Shaw Hopes Faried Returns a Better Player
(Nuggets coach Brian) Shaw has one of his players in this year’s tournament, forward Kenneth Faried, who made it past the first round of cuts and will be in Chicago next week for practices and an exhibition game against Brazil.
Asked if the competition will help Faried, Shaw said: “I certainly hope so. I would only hope that Kenneth gets better, that he was maybe able to learn from someone else, or pick up a few things from some of the coaches that he had there as well, and come back a better player, a better leader.”
