When he (Joel Embiid) heard DeMarcus Cousins’ praise that he could be the best big in the NBA — with a caveat it would be once Cousins retired — Embiid had a confident reaction.
“I don’t think I’m going to wait until he retires to be the best big man in the league,” Embiid said after practice Wednesday. “But it’s about having fun.”
