Source: Nate Robinson Wants to Join Wizards

Nate Robinson, a player the Wizards reportedly expressed interest in signing two years ago, was traded from the Denver Nuggets to the Boston Celtics, who promptly bought him out. The diminutive Robinson possesses a skill set the Wizards could use off the bench: He’s a great athlete, he can provide instant offense, and he can defend point guards.

Furthermore, the 5-foot-9 Robinson is interested in playing for the Wizards, according to two people with knowledge of the situation. Washington, however, is not currently interested in signing the former slam dunk champion and has not reached out to him.
