Late contributions from Tony Parker, David Lee and Patty Mills lifted the Spurs over the Grizzlies, 103-96, finally eliminating a team hell-bent on shocking the basketball world.

For doing just that the Spurs will be rewarded with a long weekend of rest.

They’ll need it, with James Harden and the Rockets coming.
