San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker is bothered by a sprained ankle, and he is listed as day-to-day as the Spurs prepare for Wednesday’s Game 5 of the first-round playoff series against the Dallas Mavericks, the San Antonio Express reported Tuesday.

The best guess is that he will play, but it is uncertain how effective he will be if he does.

Parker had a subpar performance in Game 4, scoring just 10 points while taking 14 shots.

There were reports he was limping noticeably in the locker room after the game.

If Parker is limited, it probably will mean more playing time for Manu Ginobili and more Patty Mills, both of whom performed well in Game 4.

The series is tied 2-2.
